Facilitation

We facilitate meetings, retreats, strategic planning processes and community care. In facilitating, we aim to create the future we want by how we are together. We know that the wisdom is in the room--that the people who have come together have what they need to move towards the possibilities they seek.

We develop a felt experience of reciprocal care with each other, and we know that educators are not bottomless wells. We all need replenishment, to be seen and welcomed, just as we are.

If we are about transforming the education system--not just reforming it--we are going to need to know what this feels like, so we can nourish ourselves and so we can offer it to each other and our students.

Practicing in facilitated spaces of mutual support can develop our embodied sense of what it feels like to be truly welcomed just as we are, to be acknowledged as having what we need to solve our own problems, to be supported in pointing ourselves towards our commitments to dismantle systems of oppression and build the world we know is possible.
